Some of the most beautiful castles in Belarus are Nesvizh, Mir, Lyubcha, Lida and Kossovo castles.
Mir castle is a stone building, built in the XVI—XVII centuries in the vicinity of the town of Mir. The castle is surrounded by a flat area, not far from the castle the river Miranka flows. The castle has the shape of a square, the corners are five-storey towers 25-27 m height. Now in the castle there's a Museum that will be interesting to visit for the lovers of antiquity.
The Nesvizh castle complex is located in the North-Eastern part of the of Nesvizh in Minsk region of Belarus. Nesvizh castle built in the XVI century by Radziwill. He repeatedly burned and recovered. The castle is fully restored and anyone can buy a ticket for the tour.
Lyubchansky castle was built in 1581 and is located on the left Bank of the Neman. It was captured several times by enemies, partially destroyed. Now lyubchansky castle is trying to restore.
Lida Castle was one of several citadels erected by Grand Duke Gediminas of Lithuania in the early 14th century to defend his lands against the expansion of the Teutonic Knights. The site selected for the castle is naturally defended by the Kamenka and Lida rivers to east and west. The castle had two angle towers and a church, which was moved outside the walls in 1533.
